Nigerian chef and former Guinness World Record for marathon cooking (Cook-athon), dragged heavily by Ghanaians on Twitter on her opinion about Ghanaian Jollof.
The Chef recently in a podcast video opined that Nigerian Jollof is a lot better than Ghanaian Jollof and much effort is not taken into cooking Ghanaian Jollof.
According to her she recently visited Ghana and tasted the Ghanaian Jollof made by another chef and in her own opinion, Nigerian Jollof tastes better.
However after the video surfaced on Twitter, the Ghanaian Twitter community descended heavily on her for belittling their favourite food, while others challenged why Ghanaian Jollof is better than that of Nigerian Jollof.
The Ghana – Nigeria Jollof war has been going for a long time and no one knows how it started or when it will end. Both countries tend to defend their country’s jollof wherever this debate comes up.
