GES SACKS 8 CHIANA KIDS FOR INSULTING THE PRESIDENT
Eight Chiana female students sacked for using derogatory words on the president of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo
Eight female students of the Chiana Senior high school in the Kasena- Nankana west district of the upper East region have been dismissed from the school by the Ghana Education Service for using unprintable words on the president of Ghana
It will be recalled, that a video of some female students went viral last year in which the female students were seen insulting the President and his Free SHS initiative.
The Ghana education service seeing the viral video suspended the students after identifying them in the video. The GES also released a statement, that an investigation is been made into the issue , adding an apology to the President and the Public on behalf of the Children and the school.
A letter dated November 29,2022 signed by the director of GES Dr. Eric Nkansah states, that the eight female student should be dismissed .
The letter which was addressed to the parents is to serve as a deterrent to other students and further indicates, that the dismissed students will use their dismissal as a point in their life to bring the desired change in their behavior and attitude towards life.
